Miracle Faux Green Agate Brooch featuring a celtic design with two small round faux green agate cabochons either end and a further two larger cabochons in different green tones in the centre. It is signed Miracle on the reverse. It is 4.5cm wide and 1cm at its highest point and it weighs 7.7g. Miracle jewellery is a collectable British UK Jewellery brand.
The company was started in the late 1946 by A Hill and Company and was based in Birmingham. Taking inspiration from ancient jewellery finds, they became leading British designers of Celtic Jewellery, Sottish Jewellery and Irish Jewellery. They have also made some stunning Mackintosh, Renaissance, Egyptian, cameo and classical lines. Making their own reproductions of semi precious stones from bohemian glass, they have produced many uniquely coloured, beautiful jewellery pieces over the years. Other companies associated with/bought by Miracle are Quarrier Ward & Ward Brothers, producers of Jewellery marked Mizpah and Sol D'or. In 2013 Miracle closed its Birmingham base, its ownership was taken over by St Justin and its now based in Cornwall.
