About Us
Established in September 2019 Bramble & Lily is an online emporium of vintage and antique costume jewellery as well as vintage fashion and accessories. Bramble & Lily prides itself on the vast array of carefully selected and authenticated pieces it has on offer. From Ciro to Chanel, Trifari to Gucci, Monet to Yves Saint Laurent and everything else in between, Bramble & Lily is a vintage haven with pieces of jewellery to suit all budgets and styles. Each piece of jewellery is selected personally by Deborah from locations around the world, and they are chosen for their craftsmanship, quality and collectability as well as their designer prestige and their history.
Deborah Drew is the founder of Bramble & Lily. She lives in Cardiff and is an interior designer of twenty-four years, spending four of those years as the on-screen designer and presenter on BBC1’s DIY SOS. Sourcing the correct antiques or vintage pieces was critical to many of Deborah’s designs, and she revelled in scouring auction houses and antique shops up and down the country here in the UK, as well as many flea markets and brocantes abroad.
Deborah completed a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing in 2010 and believes that all customers should experience a sense of joy from the moment they fall in love with a piece to the first moment they hold it in their hands. She views your pre-loved purchase as beginning a brand-new chapter of its story with you, and that delightful packaging is simply a must. Your piece of joy will arrive in folded blush tissue in a contrasting warm grey box and the prettiest pink grosgrain ribbon finished with a bow, all branded Bramble & Lily.
Her obsession with all that sparkles began as a small child when she became mesmerised with her Granny’s Delizza and Elster brooch. This passion was resurrected when she fell in love with Kate Middleton’s Butler and Wilson Daisy bracelet, which she may well have worn in homage to her late mother-in-law, the Princess of Wales, who was a huge B&W fan. Deborah collected the parure and along the way, discovered countless other designers such as Wales’ own Attwood and Sawyer, Ciner, and the inimitable Miriam Haskell and Hattie Carnegie, etc., etc., and as the list grew, so, of course, did the collections. Turning her hobby into a business was the easiest decision.
Bramble & Lily have featured in Vogue US and has a growing following on Instagram. Bramble & Lily offer a Personal Shopping Service, gift vouchers with an exclusive Members Club, ‘My B&L’ currently being perfected in the wings, which will allow early access and discounts to members amongst other privileges.
