D'Orlan 22ct Gold Plated Black Enamel and Clear Crystal Dapple Dachshund Brooch featuring a dapple dachshund design comprising black shiny enamel and organic patches of pave set clear sparkling crystals with a gold border. He has a black glass cabochon eye, gold lips, four feet and upward tail. This adorable brooch measures 2.7cm at his tallest point and 5.2cm at his widest point and he weighs 14.6g. It has a rollover clasp and he signed '(c) D'ORLAN' on the rectangular cartouche on the reverse.

Together the companies developed a high standard plating process that is highly regarded to include a 22 karat triple-plated finish over a pewter base metal that ensures a consistency of colour. This process has also been incorporated into the Nina Ricci jewellery.
